Job Description:
A company is looking for an Adjunct Faculty member for the
course Introduction to the Food Justice Movement.
Key Responsibilities
Teach an asynchronous online course using an existing syllabus and
course shell on Canvas LMS
Provide weekly office hours and be available to students by
appointment
Complete required faculty and staff trainings and maintain a
positive team environment
Required Qualifications
MA in Environmental Studies, Sociology, or a related field
Experience with Canvas or other LMS platforms and online teaching
experience
Willingness to co-create an inclusive community and engage in
professional development
Basic understanding of contemplative educational approaches
Demonstrated understanding of the values of the institution and
rigorous approach in work and communication
