Job Description:
A company is looking for a Patient Access Associate I Central
Scheduler - PRN.
Key Responsibilities
Schedules and pre-registers patients for appointments, confirming
demographic and insurance information
Educates patients on procedure preparations and coordinates patient
encounters using multiple system applications
Acts as a liaison between physician partners and care sites while
meeting departmental productivity and quality standards
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent is required
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a patient scheduling or revenue
cycle related role, or 2 years of contact center experience
Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare benefit plans,
including Medicare and Medicaid
Proficient typing and computer skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
