Job Description:
A company is looking for a Primary Care Clinic Coding
Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately code evaluation and management, surgery, emergency room,
and outpatient facility services
Complete daily Masterlog of accounts coded and Time Allocation
reports
Identify trends and potential issues in coding and report to the
Coding manager
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Experience with ICD-10-CM and CPT coding
Knowledge of coding edits and denials resolution
Experience with outpatient facility coding and professional clinic
coding
Familiarity with Cerner and/or Meditech systems
Understanding of billing and coding guidelines for multiple
facilities and Medicare Administrative Contractors
