Job Description:
A company is looking for a Hospitalist Coding Specialist who
will provide coding services for various specialties.
Key Responsibilities
Provide CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding for a minimum of 1-4
specialties
Calculate ProFee and/or Facility E/M levels and recognize critical
care cases
Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and maintain coding
accuracy and productivity levels
Required Qualifications
Certification through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P) is
mandatory
At least 1 year of experience as a Hospitalist coder is
required
Working knowledge of EMR and billing systems is necessary
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook is required
Must maintain a quality score and productivity level of 95% or
higher
